I thought it would never happen....Really, I am not joking about that. We have been in PT since birth working to get to this point.
This weekend Abby took a step at grandma and grandpas. Today at PT, she took maybe 2-3 steps max (falling on the third step).
Tonight, Amber was over and we were playing with bubbles in the kitchen. Abby took 4 steps from me to Amber! Then, she continued to take steps throughout the night. Daddy even got it on video! Our max was 7!
I know we have a long way to go before I can walk to the mailbox holding Abby's hand, but we are getting there!
(And...She is supposed to get her SMO's (brace for her foot) tomorrow....Looks like that isn't going to be the thing that makes her walk...we just had to wait it out for her to do it on her own)
