First MI snow!

We are the real deal...We were actually out running when it started to snow! Abby was all bundled up in the stroller in her snow pants, winter coat, mittens, and  hat.  She couldn't really move, but she was warm!

We got home and she liked looking out the window at the snow on the deck!

Our Big Girl

She is wearing jeans and a short sleeved Polo Shirt (a hand me down...) over a long sleeved white shirt.  She looked like she was going to school (except she has no hair, doesn't talk, and isn't wearing any shoes....or socks for that matter)

She fell asleep in the Jump Up

She was so sweet...Every once in a while she would start jumping and then her face would hit the button on the tray which made the music play and all the lights would start flashing..Didn't phase her, she just kept sleeping!

Friends would always joke with me and say, "you must shop at Tall Girl"

grocery store

Today at the grocery store I was getting creamer out of the "cold section."  A lady was patiently waiting behind me as I got my creamer.  I turned around and she said, "Just so you know, you have a GREAT baby..."

I tried to be humble (like how Abby acts is in my control..It's not....) and said, "Well, she is tired so she is kind of in a daze right now..."

God gave us a pretty great baby...I am not going to make excuses anymore...The lady at the grocery store is right....Abby is great, thank you Jesus!

Visiting Michael at MSU

Tonight we went to MSU with Taylor to visit Michael.  It was fun to see his dorm, meet a few of his friends, and grab some dinner.  Then we walked around a bit and took some awkward family pictures...Thankfully Michael and Taylor were confident enough in themselves to put up with their crazy cousins requests!

 So cute!  Taylor also enjoyed pushing the stroller around campus...

Tonight was so fun.  I LOVE my cousins....

9 Months

I can't believe it has been 9 months....

Abby you make our lives incredible.  We love you more than anything else in the world.  You bring us joy every single day.  We often talk about how much we love you and can't imagine loving you any more than we already do, but somehow, everyday we love you more than the day before...

• You love baths.  You play with your toys and chew on them in the tub.  You even let water splash in your face.
• You went to the apple orchard for the first time!  You loved chewing on the apples.
• You ran a race with mom and dad at U of M and went to the Big House!
• You wore a bow on your head for the first time (without a headband!)
• You are a crawling machine... Baby-proofing has begun!
• You chase your shadow.
• You LOVE to have your face covered with blankets, hats, whatever you can find.  You think it is so funny.

Things I love to do with you:

• Blow bubbles on your cheeks and your chunky legs.  You giggle because it tickles you!
• Putting you to bed, you cuddle when we read books.
• Going on walks and runs.  You just love being in the stroller and will sit there happy to have the breeze in your face.
• Playing peek a boo with you...It's your new favorite game.
• Kiss you...You are just starting to kiss back which leaves me with a super slobbery cheek

You have three teeth, are about 22 pounds (we have your 9 month check up on Monday), you are a sleeping champ (average 13 hours a night), you go to bed easily, nap easily, and eat a ton.
