They caught some starfish

 A closer look...Yeah, it is a bald eagle....NBD

At one point our family was all over the map....
My dad slept in a day bed....
Three grown men slept in the "cozy bear cottage"  No Joke

Three hour boat rides out to the spot...

And....the loot...Yeah, they brought home some fish....

And...it would have cost $545 to check all of this.....They got it checked free with Steve's military ID.  Boom.

Fun with Kacin's!

Before the guys left for Alaska we had one day with the Kacin crew...It was super fun.

Kate at the park:

Big girl cousins

We tried hard to get a picture of all the girl cousins before Jimmy was born!

We played in the backyard, Abby loved riding on the horse.

The slip and slide was a HUGE hit!

Later on that day we went to a park to play and check out the critters.

Such a fun day!  The next time we were all together was after Jimmy was born!

Girls

Right now Abby is finishing up lunch and Lucy is watching her from the bumbo chair.  Lucy watches Abby all the time.  Today they were smiling at each other...Abby's response to Lucy's smile, "Mommy....Lucy's funny!!" I love it that they are starting to interact.

Abby has recently been saying "I love you mama" out of the blue.  I love that too.

Yesterday we were playing Legos and Abby started singing a song about five monkeys in a tree and a crocodile coming to get them.  The song was complete with hand motions and incredible facial expressions.  It was so cute to hear her sing a song that I didn't teach her.  It was fun to figure out what she was saying and then sing along with her.

And right now, Abby is singing and Lucy is just smiling and smiling at her.  It is the most precious thing ever!
