Abby's walking has been a bit frustrating at points. Yes, she walk, but it isn't that much....until recently.
We went to the splash park with our three favorite cousins and let me tell you, this girl walked for the ENTIRE time (it was shaky walking, but it was walking!). She held my hands and walked and often was pushing my hands away so that she could walk on her own and touch the "sprinklers" We had SO much fun.
I am so proud of our little girl! 16.5 months....That's been a long time waiting for her to walk.
When I think of all of this, I am brought back to the NICU where they told me it was a good possibility that the bleed on her brain will cause a physical and mental handicap. When she meets these milestones, I realize that God has this girl exactly where He wants her. He has created her perfectly, He doesn't make mistakes. Thank you Lord for our healthy baby girl!
I love this picture for two reasons:
1: the joy on Elli's face
2. The fact that Abby is walking around with her cousins
