Amnio results came back...

Well, our amniocentesis results came back and the baby has the "not good platelets"  

We are super bummed.
IVIG every week till the baby is born.
Steroids starting at 28 weeks
A c-section at 35 weeks.

I meet with the doctor tomorrow to talk more about what the upcoming weeks will look like.  Hoping to clarify exactly what we should expect....I know IVIG gives me headaches and I can handle that, however, I don't know what the steroids will do....

The good news is that this baby is monitored and the chances of her being born with the issues Abby had are very slim because of all these medical interventions.  Thank the Lord for medicine.  I'd much rather deal with some inconvenience in pregnancy to have a healthy baby at the end.
