Our Family...

Our family is finally getting into a routine!  Abby loves playing on her iTouch.

Life is finally settling down for us.  Personally, I feel like I have finally gotten back to my normal self.  It took three months but I got there.  The first three months with Lucy were hard...really. really. hard.  I know what it feels like to have a kid who cries a lot.  Many evenings were spent with Steve and I switching back and forth holding a crying baby.  It was tough.  However, we are on the other end now,  we have a routine, Lucy has settled down and life is easier.

I don't think I was depressed, but things were definitely tough.  I am not at a point where I can do things I enjoy again.  I have the desire to craft, work in the yard, and workout.  It feels so much better to be back to normal.  

Lucy is an absolute joy.  I love her little smiles and her coos...Just this morning she woke up very happy.  I went in there and looked over the bassinet and she gave me the biggest smile.  She is such a sweet girl.  

Abby cracks us up all day long.  Just recently she has been saying "I love you".  She will be playing with toys, look up and say, "mama...I love you."  Or, when Steve walks in the door she says, "Daddy I love you, Missed you today!"  It is so sweet.  She has said I love you in the past, but it is always in response to when we say it to her.  It's so sweet that she thinks of it on her own now.

Life has been great recently. No complaints here!
