Watercolor and Destin

Our first trip to the ocean was so fun!  We went to a beach in watercolor on day one and it was beautiful!  We met our friends there and loved spending the day with them.  And, Abby loves playing with her new friend "A"

Don't let this fool you....Lucy slept for about 30 min total this beach day.....

At the end of the day the girls were exhausted, and fell asleep on the way back to base.

The S family is smart, they bring kites to the beach!

Day two we decided to check out a beach in Destin. It is a "private" area of the beach for military families. It was a cloudy day, but SO relaxing.  Steve and I even got to lay out on the blanket while Lucy slept in the stroller and Abby played in the sand.  It was wonderful!

And, We SAVED this little guy.  He was walking across the street and would have been hit by a car if Steve hadn't seen him.  Steve stopped the car, I jumped out, ran back and picked him up.  We showed him to the girls and then put him on the other side of the street where he was heading.  Poor little guy,  he was so scared!
